Noir Fatale edited by Larry Correia

I’m not overly fond of short stories but these were good.   They pay homage to the days of yore, the sultry females that populated the hard core, busted flush private dicks of yesteryear.

The main difference with these stories is that the fem fatale is the prime mover rather  than a secondary character.   Much like some of the insect world where after loving the lover loses his head quite literally or literately.   Old style stories with a scifi flair.

I enjoyed the stories.

This book may have been received free of charge from a publisher or a publicist. That will NEVER have a bearing on my recommendations.
