This is a book in the criminally insane series. An
institution, Darden State, is the home
for a variety of criminally insane inmates with one in particular truly
frightening Trey. Tray, a psychological administrator, is trying to help these
people but Agnes, an inmate with reincarnation fantasies, is apparently beyond help .
Trey is with his family on Catalina island for a long-needed
vacation. What happens next is stuff out of nightmares as problems at Darden
impact Trey while on vacation.
The author makes it clear that Trey is someone who has tried
diligently to help people and finally coming to the recognition that there are
some people beyond help.
The book wasn't particularly enjoyable, but it was a fast
read that kept your interest.
This book may have been received free of charge from a publisher or a publicist. That will NEVER have a bearing on my recommendations.
