This is a mystery set in a small college town that features
Jack Stratton, a veteran turned cop.
Jack finds his roots reaching up and strangling him with guilt and
responsibility. His foster sister’s
death drags him back into a past he abandoned.
Greyson does a good job developing his characters. You can feel Jack’s motivation and his guilt. Replacement is both poignant and funny, she
adds a lot of color to the book.
This is a good mystery and it shows the lengths that may be
taken to prove a point.
I recommend it.
This book may have been received free of charge from a publisher or a publicist. That will NEVER have a bearing on my recommendations.
