The Wild One by Nick Petrie

Peter Ash’s PTSD is becoming more of a focus in the books.  His soul mate, June, and his best bud are not in the picture.  He faces this crisis alone, in Iceland and the cold trying to rescue Oskar, a precocious boy.

Peter discovers that Icelanders are insular and family-oriented.  He discovers this in his usual manner, the hard way.   A ruthless politician will stop at nothing to find the boy before Peter can.  There is a wealth of violence and introspection.

I enjoyed the book.
