Just One Look by Harlan Coben

Coben delights in popping the clutch and shooting to 60mph in 3.4 seconds.   This book put the pedal to the metal from the preface.   A tragedy at a rock concert fifteen years ago leads to the interaction of perpetrators and victims years later.

Coben likes to populate his books with colorful characters.  Cram, crooked teeth, deadly and relates well to children.    Eric Wu is straight out of a Bond movie sans the bowler.  Grace defines perseverance in the love of her husband. A mafioso, a Fed, a local police Captain, a hot mama, and those with flexible identities fill out the cast.

I enjoyed the book and recommend it.
