Books I have authored.

Many times I receive books for FREE to give them an honest review. I do not get paid to give a good or bad review. Spotlights are promotional and should be regarded as advertising for the book spotlighted. Regardless of where or how I got a book, my review will be as honest as I can make it.

Nina the Neighborhood Ninja by Sonia Panigrahy

Nina the Neighborhood Ninja by Sonia Panigrahy

This is a well illustrated story about a little girl who goes out of her way to help others.  The story encourages other children to be speedy, smart and strong and help others by being a super hero.  Super hero is defined as someone who goes out of their way to help others.

I like that a girl is defined as a super hero.   I think more kid's books should feature girls as strong protagonists.   The author did a nice job and I liked the book.

This book may have been received free of charge from a publisher or a publicist. That will NEVER have a bearing on my recommendations.
